The Requarth Lumber Co. mill traces its origins to a small turning shop that F.A. Requarth and Henry W. Meyer opened at Fourth and Wayne in 1860. Today, our mill shop continues our tradition of manufacturing the finest in finished wood products for new construction, remodeling, and industrial applications.

New Construction
Builders rely on the Requarth mill for unique products that provide distinguishing features to the area's finest new homes. Custom base mouldings, window and door casings, chair rails, hand rails, and crown mouldings are simple touches that add character and quality to any home interior. Curved mouldings, including circle top window jambs and casings, are a specialty in our mill.

Exterior wood sidings are also produced in a variety of profiles in redwood, cedar, pine, and other species. Custom wood brackets and other decorative features of all sizes are also available.

Commercial contractors turn to the Requarth mill for chamfer strips and rustification manufactured and machined to any specification. A wide variety of custom products for commercial offices are also available, including mouldings, railings, door frames, and brackets.

Remodeling
Property maintenance professionals and residential and commercial remodeling contractors value the Requarth mill for its ability to meet building challenges when off-the-shelf solutions do not work. Custom casing and base moulding patterns in specified lengths, historically accurate moulding profiles, and exterior sidings carefully matched to a sample of the original are among the many quality jobs produced in the Requarth mill.

Industrial
Industry turns to the Requarth mill for a wide assortment of specialized needs. Factories, tool and die shops, sign manufacturers, printing companies, and other industrial concerns enjoy the flexibility of buying exactly the products they require. Plywood of any thickness and type can be sawn into custom shapes or strips. Custom wood wedges, blocks, and rounds are manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes to each customer's unique specifications. Requarth Lumber's broad inventory of southern yellow pine products also provides an opportunity for industrial customers to save on crating needs.
